The project

HISTORY

The Couleurs Santé Health Centre was established in 2004 as a branch of the Santé Plurielle Health Centre in Saint-Gilles (Brussels), on the initiative of a doctor, a physiotherapist and an administrative assistant, all three of whom were working at the Maison Médicale Santé Plurielle at the time.

Couleurs Santé was incorporated as a non-profit organisation in the municipality of Ixelles in 2010.

Our team currently comprises 18 staff members. We have opted for a flat-rate funding model and have been accredited by COCOF since 2014.

Around 2,200 patients are currently enrolled in the flat-rate scheme at the Maison Médicale.

OUR PROJECT

We provide primary care. Our team takes a community-based approach to healthcare, combining treatment, prevention and health promotion in partnership with the local network.

We work as part of a multidisciplinary team, serving the residents of the municipality of Ixelles (1050).

OUR PRIORITIES

Accessibility: geographical, financial, cultural and psychological

Holistic approach: considering the individual as a whole (physically, socially and psychologically)

Continuity: through the maintenance of a medical record

The patient involvement is 30€ and is partially reimbursed, depending on the health insurance scheme.
