Look after your body by strengthening your pelvic floor.
On Thursday 26 March 2026, the health centre invites you to discover specific exercises to tone this vital area. Mery, our physiotherapist specialising in perinatal care, looks forward to welcoming you for a session of simple and effective exercises that are easy to incorporate into your daily routine.
The pelvic floor, which is made up of muscles and ligaments, supports the pelvic organs, such as the bladder, the rectum and, in women, the uterus.
This group of muscles helps to maintain good control over urine, stools and wind, and it also plays a role in sexual function.
The pelvic floor can weaken with age, due to hormonal changes, pregnancy and childbirth, amongst other factors.
Fortunately, it can be strengthened with the right exercises!
A toned pelvic floor means greater comfort in everyday life and improved intimate wellbeing.
